How to find the IMAX Melbourne Location

Located within the Melbourne Museum in Carlton Gardens, the IMAX Melbourne Museum is home to the world's (3rd) largest screen. The screen is designed to give you the ultimate movie experience.

GETTING TO THE IMAX THEATRE MELBOURNE
Tram: The 86 and 96 tram (from Bourke Street if you're coming from the city) will take you to the Museum stop on the corner of Nicholson and Gertrude streets. Alternatively, take the free City Circle tram to Victoria Street and take a nice stroll through the gardens.
Train: Take a City Loop train to Parliament station and then choose between a short walk up Nicholson Street or jump on one of the two trams mentioned above.
Bus: Routes 250, 251 or 402 to Rathdowne Street or the City of Melbourne Free Tourist Shuttle will practically drop you at the doorstep of our movie cinema.

Car: Secure undercover parking is conveniently located underneath the museum forecourt with entrance off Rathdowne Street. $5 car parking is available for entry after 5pm with the purchase of an IMAX movie tickets, see the IMAX box office staff when you arrive for details.
